For the 1st several years of avatar play on CERL/NovatNet and the Minn systems most (90+%) of all players only had access to one Plato terminal, ran one char and teamed up with others to run. Here in this simulation of avatar we are not limited to the number of chaarcters we can run in one party. I myself am comfortable with a 5 bagger, am practicing on running a 6 bagger and am getting better at it. With that being said, everyone who plays here has (or is developing) their own style of play and finding out how to run a party which has a balance of character skills needed to defeat the adversaries which the DM('s) throw at us.
Doing rescues and helping others finding quest monsters/quest items are about the only opportunities for this to be a team game anymore. I would like to suggest better in game communication during rescues so that players who have volunteered to rescue another player's chars (this requires asking for help and that builds community {imho}) may be aware that others may be assisting and not get frustrated when someone beats them to the location. I don't need to be a hero, but I am always willing to help anyone else in the game by setting aside my in game objectives, and assist someone else who is struggling/rolling crappy dice :-). Thanks to everyone for being helpful to others in this game which tends to make it more enjoyable for all of us.
